The first day of your job brings excitement as well as anxiety about impression. Because we know" the First Impression is the Last Impression". Before one night we think about so many questions like how will I reach on time.?, what should I dress.?, How will my boss.?, etc.. Such kind of questions come in the mind when we are entering into the corporate world first time.
So here are some tips,

How to make a great impression on your first day of your job.?

1) Be Punctual

Punctuality is key to success in the corporate world. Be on time on the first day of your job which makes a strong impression on your boss as well as co-workers. If you reach 20 to 30min reach early every day in any circumstances which indicate you are not an ordinary one. You know the value of time.

2) Appearance

After punctuality next one is appearance means dressing scenes like the contrast of your formals, design on your formal wears, Belt+watch+shoe and its style and pattern.
On the first day of your office wear a cool colour which I prefer most of the time I  mean choose a light colour. (Ex. light grey pant and light green shirt).  Such kind of appearance gives you confidence, put a cool appearance in front of all people even it reduces your anxiety.

3) Do Some Homework 

Before joining do some homework about the projects acquired by your company. Company basic profiles, get through the important personalities, their names, relative positions and their achievements.
Prepare a small introduction of yours because on the first-day people will ask for introducing your self in front of all so be prepared for that. 

4) Listen Carefully and Try to Give Answers

Introduction session us very important for newcomers. Because in that they give a briefing about the company, their policies and T&C of the company. So listen carefully and if they asked any question, profusely try to give an answer to them but don't bluff in this session.

5)Try to Make Relation During Lunchtime

In corporate world relations, social ties and deals happen during lunch time. Because during working hours people are stress and if you try to make social ties during working hours, might you fail or not effective. So during lunchtime don't be seated alone. Mingle with your office colleagues and make effective social ties up with them which will definitely help you in future.

6) Take Initiative

In the corporate world, you won't get knowledge directly from your seniors. You have to take the initiatives and through mistakes, smart works and giving and taking opinions, this way you can get knowledge from your seniors. This is the only way to grow your stance in the corporate world.
