Don't Work for Recognition, But Do Work that will be Worth of Recognition

You might have heard or read this quote somewhere when you were depressed and desperate from your work, job or when you were not recognised by your superiors. Many people put this quote on their WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram status or desktop or mobile wallpaper to motivate themselves to do their job correctly with 100% input. Such kind of people is very disciplined, serious and punctual about their work. But at the end of the year, when they don't get appreciation appraisal they feel demotivated

When you are doing hard work, giving your 100% potential in your work and suddenly someone comes and says ''you are not good and your work doesn't deserve  recognition.!" That time your chest tightens, Negative and unmanageable  thoughts gushed the mind.

If you are not emotionally competent, then in such kind of situations, you are unable to manage anxiety, embarrassment and fear. Eventually, you speak up something odd that you shouldn't say to your colleagues or superiors.

1) Never Try to Relate Your Emotions with Tense Situations

Emotion and situation both are like fuel and fire. If anyone triggers one, the second one automatically gets triggered with the help of the first one. In such kind of situation, if you cannot handle your emotions then just listen from one end leave from another one to avoid your situations from escalating.  Or

Try to suppress your emotions from Curiosity, surprise and compassion.

2)Tell Story to Your Self

Our life has four wheels. Personal, Professional, Social and Relationship. Each is interconnected with emotions. Emotion is generated from situations. It means How you understand the actual situation. If you try to understand the story in a funny manner it would be funny and happy for you but if you understand the story in an angry or sad manner it would be sad for you.

Likewise, think the situation in a different manner, detach and take control over negative, embarrassing and sad situations.

3)Self interrogate and then tell Story to your self.?

Ask 3 question to yourself before listening to anyone

1) Is this the correct person whom I have to listen.?

2) Is this person motive and desire good for me.?

3) Is the right time to change or adapt his opinions.?

After having the answer, think, understand and tell a story to yourself. Otherwise, it will be very harming for your mental state, if you listen and understand to unwanted, negative and senseless emotions of the story.
