Does Enough Food Is Available In India To Fulfill Everyone Stomach...??

Hello viewers, in this blog I am going to share any information about the world biggest problem is Starvation. Each and every country striving through these crises. Each day in one of the corners of a newspaper or sometimes the headline of a newspaper is X amount of children or families die because of drought hunger or starvation. Starvation and hunger problem also affect our GDP growth. I had read one article in which because of starvation, hunger and malnutrition our GDP growth fall down by 2% to 3%.

Really Enough Food is Available in India Which is Popularly Known as Agrarian Country...?

If we take the case of an agrarian country India, the ground reality is totally different from what the government actually saying on media.

Recently one case happened in Delhi (the capital of India), three people died because of starvation. Actually, they were from West Bengal and they were a migrated to Delhi to feed their stomach but they didn't get a job unfortunately they died. When bodies went for postmortem there was no single trace of food. This is only one case there are so many cases happened every day.

This is not good for India where our economy ranked at level 6th and known as an agrarian country in the whole globe.

In India national demographic parties fight for election every day, discuss critical issues in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha but no one bothers about this case. If anyone raises the issue on this topic he/she face would the political posture.

Every day 3000 children die from malnutrition and 19 crore people sleep with an empty stomach. Even though the government has started a campaign for a poor person as well as children's get food which consists of all nutrition as well as micro nutritions like Iron, Iodine, Vitamine A and many more.

The reality of India behind the scarcity of food is "disconnection between a high level of growth and human development". If we take statistical of GHI (Global Human Index) is 100 out of 119. GHI actually shows how many levels of hunger in that particular country. India far away from other countries. In India lots of food assistance are available.35million people in India relaid on food assistance services and but still children suffering from malnutrition.
Some statistical facts which I got from a local magazine was that
  • Around 14.5% of the total population of India has undernourished
  • 190.7 million people go hungry every day
  • 21.5% of children under 5 are underweight
  • 1in4 children malnourished
Now, this is a hunger map which shows that level of hunger in each country.

Thank You
